ABOUT US
Established in 2022, Cincinnati Skatepark Project’s mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and sustainable environment for all skaters (skateboarders, quad skaters, rollerbladers, scooter riders and bmx riders). CSP is dedicated to the development and enhancement of skate spaces in the Cincinnati area. We believe skating is a vibrant form of expression and a positive outlet for youth and adults alike.
We collaborate with local government, community leaders, and skate enthusiasts to design and construct skateparks that meet the needs of our community. Our projects prioritize sustainable design and reflect the input of local skaters to create spaces that are not only functional but also serve as focal points for community engagement.
In addition to building skateparks, we strive to promote positive skate culture through events and workshops that encourage participation and skill development. Our vision is to make Cincinnati a hub for skating, fostering a sense of camaraderie and creativity among its residents.
Join us in our mission to elevate skating in Cincinnati and create lasting spaces for the community to thrive!

MEET THE TEAM
-
Evan Walker
Founder of CSP
Evan grew up skateboarding in Southern California, where in the 1990’s, there were few skateparks but plenty of skaters. His first board was from Ohio’s own Alien Workshop. Since then he’s lived in several small towns and big cities across the country, where skateparks serve as a place to find friends and get active outside in public parks. Now, as an environmental sustainability advisor and father, he’s motivated to give the current (and future) skaters of Cincinnati more opportunities to get outside and go skate.
-
Gabrielle Larkin
Community Engagement Director
Wether you’re catching her on the track playing with Cincinnati Rollergirls where she is known as Jackie the Ripper #100, rolling with her in the rinks or checking out a skate park- on 8 wheels is how Gabrielle likes to stay.
As a second generation skatepark advocate and mom of two skaters, in addition to founding Cincinnati Skate Collective, she is passionate about growing accessible and equitable skate spaces in Cincinnati.
-
Randy Browne
Design + Build Consultant
Randy started skateboarding in Florida during the early 1990s, when public skateparks were few and far between and janky driveway ramps brought the handful of local skaters together. Over the past thirty years, he’s developed a wide range of experience with skateboarding, from working at public skateparks and retail skate shops to teaching children to skate at Woodward Skate Camp. Randy has long been fascinated by skatepark design and construction and has helped build several backyard ramps, bowls, and DIY skateparks. These days, most of his sessions are on his backyard mini with his soon-to-be four-year-old son.

Luke Lehenbauer
Creative Director
Luke, a Cincinnati native, is a contemporary artist and motion designer. Growing up, he never quite found his place in the world of competitive team sports. Instead, he discovered the world of extreme sports, with skateboarding becoming his ultimate outlet. For Luke, skateboarding wasn’t just a sport—it was a canvas for self-expression, a gateway to a vibrant community, and a way to unleash his boundless creativity.
Now a proud father of two imaginative and spirited children, Luke is passionate about fostering opportunities for skating and creative expression throughout the city, now and for the foreseeable future.
What captivates Luke most about skateboarding is its limitless potential. It’s a sport, an art form, and a personal escape all rolled into one. Whether it’s performed as a dazzling spectacle, embraced as a competitive challenge, or cherished as a moment of freedom from life’s fast pace, skateboarding is whatever you make of it—and that’s what makes it truly extraordinary.
